FAQS

frequently asked questions

  • Do you offer services outside of the state of Georgia?

While we primarily focus on clients throughout Southeast Georgia, we occasionally take on projects outside the state—depending on the scope, location, and timeline. Our core service areas include Savannah, Richmond Hill, Hinesville, Brunswick, and Statesboro, but we’ve also worked with clients in northern Florida and parts of South Carolina. If you're located out of state and have a project you think we’d be a good fit for, we encourage you to reach out. In some cases, we can fabricate the work in-house and arrange delivery or shipment, especially for smaller components or repeat fabrication. For larger installations or on-site welding needs, travel arrangements may be possible if the job justifies the time and logistics. We're open to discussing special cases and are happy to provide upfront clarity. Every job starts with a conversation—so if you're out of area, just ask, and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

  • Do you provide mobile welding?

Yes—we offer mobile welding services in select locations, including Savannah, Richmond Hill, Hinesville, and nearby surrounding areas. Mobile welding is ideal for clients who need on-site repairs, installations, or structural modifications that can’t be easily transported. We’re equipped to handle a variety of field conditions and bring the same level of precision to the job site that we provide in our shop. Whether it’s a trailer repair, a broken gate, a structural bracket installation, or a reinforcement task, we’ll arrive prepared. We utilize MIG and TIG welding methods on-site, depending on the type of metal and project requirements. If your job needs to be done where it sits, we’re ready to help. We do limit mobile services to areas within a reasonable driving range, but we’re happy to evaluate your request and provide clear travel and service expectations before starting. Just send us a photo and description—we’ll take it from there.

  • How far will you travel for a project?

Our typical travel range encompasses the core Southeast Georgia region, covering cities such as Richmond Hill, Savannah, Hinesville, Brunswick, and Statesboro. For standard mobile welding or field assessments, we usually stay within a 60–75-mile radius of our shop in Richmond Hill. That said, we’re flexible depending on the size, scope, and urgency of the project. If your job requires extended travel or multi-day work, we’re happy to provide a quote based on the time, distance, and logistics involved. For larger commercial or industrial projects, we can significantly expand that range. If you're unsure whether your location qualifies, the best course of action is to reach out with a project overview. We’ll quickly assess whether it’s a fit and let you know what to expect. Our goal is to provide excellent service without overextending ourselves—so if we say yes, it means we’re confident we can do the job right.

  • Can I bring my parts to your shop?

Yes, absolutely. Many of our clients choose to drop off parts, materials, or design references directly at our Richmond Hill shop. This is often the fastest way to get a project moving, especially if you have an item that needs repair or a prototype you’d like us to replicate or improve. Our shop is well-equipped for walk-in jobs—just contact us first to schedule a drop-off time. We’ll review your part, discuss your goals, and recommend the best path forward. If it’s something simple, we might even handle it the same day, depending on the shop's workload. For more complex builds, we will provide a quote detailing the timeline and materials required. Amanda and Matthew are on-site, so you’ll be speaking with the people who will actually be doing the work. Whether it’s a small fix or a custom fabrication need, bringing your part to the shop gives us both clarity and momentum.

  • Do you charge extra for out-of-area work?

Sometimes, yes—but we’re always upfront about it. For projects located outside our standard service zone, we may charge a modest travel fee to cover fuel, time, and additional setup required. The fee depends on the distance, project duration, and whether multiple trips are needed. For mobile welding, this might mean a flat mileage rate or a travel minimum. For larger jobs or ongoing contracts, we’ll often bundle travel into the total project quote. Our goal is to stay transparent—if there are any travel-related costs, you’ll know about them before we begin. We never tack on surprise fees or hidden charges. And in many cases, we can help reduce travel needs by handling design and fabrication in-house, then coordinating pickup or delivery. If you’re located farther out and are concerned about cost, reach out anyway—we’ll always offer clear pricing and may still be able to take on your project.
