FAQS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • May I stop by the shop at any time?

We kindly request that you schedule an appointment before visiting the shop. Since we’re a small, hands-on operation, Amanda and Matthew are often engaged in active fabrication work and want to ensure they can give you their full attention when you visit. Appointments help us set aside time to look at your parts, discuss your design, or walk you through materials and layout options. We’re located in Richmond Hill, GA and serve clients throughout Southeast Georgia, so shop visits are common—and encouraged! Please call, text, or email us ahead of time to arrange a time that works for you. Whether you're dropping off a project, reviewing sketches, or exploring fabrication options, we’re happy to meet in person. A little planning goes a long way in making sure your visit is productive and personalized. We’re not a showroom—we’re a working shop. But we’ll be ready when you arrive.

  • How soon will I get a response?

Most of our inquiries receive a response within one business day—often much faster. We prioritize communication because we understand how frustrating it can be to wait for a callback or wonder if your message has been received. Whether you reach out via phone, text, email, or our contact form, we aim to acknowledge your inquiry promptly and provide you with the answers or next steps you need. Amanda handles most communications and keeps things organized, while Matthew reviews technical questions or project details when needed. During busy shop days or off-hours, there may be a slight delay, but we never ignore messages and always circle back. We want to make your experience smooth and responsive from the very first touchpoint. Even if we can’t quote your project right away, we’ll let you know what’s needed and when to expect a reply. You’ll never be left wondering—we believe in follow-through.

  • What should I include in my message?

The more details you can provide, the better and faster we can help. If you’re reaching out with a project idea, try to include your goals, the type of metal you're considering (if known), rough dimensions, and how or where the piece will be used. Photos or sketches—no matter how rough—are incredibly helpful, especially for repairs, brackets, or design builds. If you're modifying or replicating an existing part, having pictures of the item and its surrounding area is useful. Let us know where you’re located and whether you’re looking for pickup, delivery, or mobile service. You don’t need to have everything figured out—we’ll guide you—but having more context allows us to provide a clearer answer and a faster quote. If you're not sure what to say, just describe the problem you're trying to solve or what the finished outcome should do. We’ll ask the right follow-up questions from there.

  • Do you offer quotes over the phone?

In some cases, yes—but it depends on the project's complexity. For simple builds, basic repairs, or repeat work, we may be able to give you a ballpark estimate over the phone. However, for anything custom, detailed, or involving measurements, we’ll likely need to see sketches, photos, or parts first. Our goal is to provide accurate quotes—not just quick ones—so we prefer to review all available information before giving a final number. If you call us first, we’ll walk you through what details are needed and how to send them over. Once we’ve reviewed everything, we’ll provide a quote back to you promptly, typically within 24–48 hours, depending on the project's size. Amanda handles the quoting process and ensures everything is clearly documented. We’re not just fabricators—we’re problem-solvers. And that starts with clear expectations and honest pricing. We’ll always let you know if more info is needed

  • Can I text or send images?

Yes—texting and sending images is encouraged, and it is often the fastest way to move your project forward. Whether you're dealing with a broken bracket, a design you saw online, or a sketch you made on paper, a picture is worth a thousand words. Texts help us see exactly what you're working with—dimensions, mounting locations, damage, finishes, and more. Amanda manages incoming messages and organizes them for review, while Matthew evaluates technical aspects, such as weld needs and material options. You can text us directly at the number listed on our site or email images if you prefer. We can also receive screenshots, CAD files, or any other materials that help clarify your vision. If you’re unsure what to include, don’t worry—send what you’ve got, and we’ll guide the rest. Texting helps us respond faster, quote smarter, and build more accurately. It’s simple, effective, and part of how we do business.
